Pepe López encara el Rally de España con ilusiones renovadas

 

Pepe López afronta el penúltimo asalto del Campeonato del Mundo WRC3 2021 para el Rally Team Spain en el Rally de España – Cataluña. Lo hace recuperando la compañía de Borja Rozada como copiloto.

Es importante destacar que el Rally de España trae este año importantes cambios, dado que ya no se disputa la etapa de tierra y gran parte del mismo discurre por nuevos trazados en asfalto, superficie sobre la que Pepe López se estrena con el coche actual.

Por este motivo, el piloto madrileño espera realizar una carrera de menos a más, pudiendo dar el máximo una vez que vaya cogiendo confianza en el mismo; sin embargo, merece la pena destacar que tras los primeros reconocimientos ha podido constatar que los nuevos tramos elegidos por la organización son de su agrado.

Tras el desafiante Rally de Finlandia, en el que consiguió terminar cuarto a pesar de la dificultad que entrañaba, no cabe duda de que está listo para volver a dar lo mejor de sí en una de las pruebas más esperadas del Mundial.

Pepe López (piloto): “Es una gran motivación poder volver a contar con Borja Rozada a mi lado. La experiencia del equipo RaceSeven me está ayudando a adaptarme al coche en asfalto a marchas forzadas. Es un placer volver a comprobar que el Rally de España – Cataluña es el mejor organizado de todo el Campeonato.”

Pepe López faces the Rally of Spain with renewed hopes

 

Pepe López faces the penultimate round of the WRC3 Championship 2021 for Rally Team Spain in the Rally of Spain - Catalonia and does so with Borja Rozada as co-driver.

It is important to note that the Rally of Spain brings important changes this year, since the gravel stage is no longer disputed and much of it runs on new asphalt routes, a surface on which Pepe Lopez is debuting with the current car.

For this reason, the driver from Madrid expects to make a race from less to more, being able to give the maximum once he gains confidence in it; however, it is worth noting that after the first reconnaissance he has been able to confirm that the new sections chosen by the organization are to his liking.

After the challenging Rally Finland, where he managed to finish fourth despite the difficulties involved, he is no doubt ready to give his best again in one of the most eagerly awaited events of the World Championship.

Pepe López (driver): "It's a great motivation to be able to have Borja Rozada by my side again. The experience of the RaceSeven team is helping me to adapt to the car on tarmac at a fast pace. It is a pleasure to see once again that the Rally of Spain - Catalonia is the best organised of all the Championship".
