Pepe López, listo para el Rally de Finlandia
 

El vigente bicampeón de España de Rallyes, Pepe López, encara una nueva prueba del Campeonato del Mundo WRC3. Afrontará los exigentes tramos del Rally de Finlandia, acompañado del copiloto Borja Odriozola.

Se trata del cuarto rally de la temporada dentro de la categoría WRC 3 para Pepe López, quien en esta cita del Mundial tendrá que enfrentarse a una competencia formada por numerosos pilotos locales, curtidos en las hostilidades de las carreteras finlandesas.

A pesar de ello, llegan entusiasmados y con ganas de pelear por volver a estar arriba, tal y como hizo en el Rally de Italia-Cerdeña, donde consiguieron subir al segundo cajón del podio, y en el también desafiante Rally de Estonia, en el que lograron acabar cuartos. 

Pepe López: “Venimos al Rally de Finlandia con muchas ganas. Un rally mítico en el calendario, quizá el más importante del mundo. Tenemos ganas de hacerlo bien, aunque sabemos que va a ser difícil ya que no es el terreno más favorable y es nuestra primera participación. Lo afrontamos con toda la ilusión y todo el esfuerzo que está en nuestras manos para intentar dejar el pabellón alto, para el Rally Team Spain, Federación Española, CSD y MSi.”

Borja Odriozola: “Afrontamos los preparativos de este Rally de Finlandia con una ilusión tremenda. Son unos tramos muy míticos, en un entorno increíble y tenemos muchas ganas de lograr una buena experiencia e intentar conseguir un buen resultado. Agradecemos todo el apoyo y esfuerzo a Motor & Sport Institute y a la Federación Española. Esperamos hacerlo bien”.

 

Pepe López, ready for Rally Finland

The reigning two-time Spanish Rally Champion, Pepe López, faces a new round of the WRC3 World Championship. He will face the demanding stages of the Rally Finland, accompanied by co-driver Borja Odriozola.

This is the fourth rally of the season in the WRC 3 category for Pepe López, who in this round of the World Championship will have to face a competition made up of numerous local drivers, experienced in the hostilities of the Finnish roads.

Despite this, they are enthusiastic and eager to fight to be at the top again, as they did in the Rally of Italy-Sardinia, where they managed to climb to the second step of the podium, and in the also challenging Rally of Estonia, where they managed to finish fourth. 

Pepe López: "We are really looking forward to Rally Finland. It is a mythical rally on the calendar, perhaps the most important in the world. We want to do well, although we know it's going to be difficult as it's not the most favourable terrain and it's our first participation. We face it with all the illusion and all the effort that is in our hands to try to leave the flag high, for the Rally Team Spain, Spanish Federation, CSD and MSi".

Borja Odriozola: "We face the preparations for this Rally Finland with tremendous enthusiasm. They are very mythical stages, in an incredible environment and we are looking forward to having a good experience and trying to get a good result.
