MSi eSports triumphs in GT3 during the 24H Series

The MSi eSports team has once again demonstrated its great talent during the 6 Hours of Hockenheim, within the 24H Series event, achieving victory in the GT3 category and an excellent third place in TCR.

The BMW M4 GT3, driven by Alejandro Sánchez and Salva Talens, took third place in qualifying, but a penalty for the second placed driver allowed them to move up one position on the grid.

In the race, Sánchez managed to overtake the leader and thanks to good tyre management and a strategy focused on saving fuel, the team maintained enough pace to dominate until the chequered flag, gaining a big advantage over their rivals in the final hour.

In the TCR category, the Audi RS3 - with Víctor Lobato and Tobías Soriano at the controls - qualified fourth and despite their good driving, they were hampered by traffic, which caused them to lose distance with the race leader. They were finally able to gain a position and crossed the finish line in third place.

Alejandro Sánchez (driver): "It was an intense race with all 4 categories on track at the same time, but calmness and pace made it easy for us to win. We put a lot of effort into finding an optimal set-up for a car that didn't really like the circuit and even less the temperatures, and in the end, we did it. It's a good start to the championship and I'm very happy with the work done by the whole team.
